How to use Winamp DSP plugin with Readon Music Search Engine
Readon Music Search Engine does not work with every Winamp DSP, especially the
older ones that are no longer updated. If the DSP is not compatible with WInamp
5.56 and later, most likely it will not be compatible with our plugin as well.
After having downloaded the DSP, install it on the location of your preference. After
installation, you will notice that there are dll files created on the installed directory.
Copy these dll files to the folder you like your Readon Music Search Engine to use.
Readon Music Search Engine does not require Winamp to be installed for using those
DSP. However, some DSP will refuse to install if Winamp is not detected in the
system.
The following example will illustrate how to use Winamp DSP:
· If you do not have Winamp installed, you will notice that the winamp directory
field is empty.
· Fill that empty field with your preference location. In this case I will put “F:\plugin\” as an
example.
· Click on the Install button. After the installation has completed, you will notice the following
files in
“F:\plugin\Plugins”
· On Readon Music plugin, click on the “Select DSP” button and set the folder to
“F:\plugin\Plugins”. You will see following:
· Select Equalizer in the list and click on “Ok” button. The equalizer will starts and you will see
a equalizer as shown on the picture below. If you do not see this equalizer, it may be hidden
in the system tray. Look for the equalizer icon in your system tray (usually located at the
bottom right corner of the screen).
· To group all your DSP together, just copy all the dll files installed from every plugin to the
location of your choice. Then use that folder in Readon music search engine.
