Mirantis to offer Workshop on How to Deploy OpenStack Cloud

Leader in engineering services for OpenStack™ cloud, Mirantis, based in Mountain View, California, is expected to provide a two day training session on deploying OpenStack Cloud. The two day coaching session will be held from June 14th to next day, at Nexenta’s offices in Santa Clara, CA. This rigorous course will provide IT professionals training for OpenStack cloud utilization. The training will involve an active participation from the professionals attending it.

Mirantis will lead a workshop, on June 20thas well, regarding Vendor Independent OpenStack Cloud at GigaOm Structure Conference in San Francisco. The topic of discussion for the workshop is: Install and Demo. . The workshop will be conducted by co-founder and executive vice president of Mirantis, Boris Renski and Kirill Ishanov, director of OpenStack Cloud Services.

This training workshop will help grow the group of experienced and skilled engineers and the knowledge required by more and more enterprises everyday in order to produce, use, and maintain OpenStack solutions. Mirantis is also planning to soon provide private on-site training programs in OpenStack for different companies demanding to train a pool of employees at a particular time.

OpenStack project has grown into one of the most prevalent and popular open source platforms for creating private and public clouds. More than 150 leading technology names, including AT&T, Cisco, Dell, HP, IBM, NetApp, Rackspace, Red Hat, and Yahoo! are associated with OpenStack. In April, the recently established OpenStack Foundation was presented as an autonomous and continuing home for OpenStack, with Mirantis as a founding associate.

Mirantis is the biggest, most experience and most qualified provider of engineering facilities for OpenStack. The company has been an active affiliate of the OpenStack community since its establishment, employing more than 50 OpenStack consultants and advisors to date. The company has productively supplied heaps of OpenStack application and implementation projects for societies like Internap, Cisco, Dell, Nexenta, and others.

Boris Renski expressed that, judging by the number of participants during their previous workshop, the large extent to which technical assistance is required, has become apparent. He said,

Furthermore, the company has made significant contributions to the Dell’s Crowbar software framework. Lately, Mirantis and Dell has declared a partnership and contract to help customers design, develop and maintain strong infrastructure clouds using OpenStack open source platform. Mirantis is also one of the main organizers of the Bay Area’s OpenStack user group, playing host to the community events occurring once every quarter of a year in Silicon Valley.
